It Wasn’t the Moon is a children’s picture book featuring Toby, a newborn sea turtle who has just hatched alone on the beach. With all of his siblings already gone, he must find his own way to the ocean.
His instincts tell him to follow the moon, but when the clouds move in . . . the moon disappears. Toby tries to seek out the moonlight, but he is confused by the light pollution on the beach.
He braves his way through one danger after another, but the moon continues to elude him. Toby must find the courage to go on, because giving up means being lost forever.
